1. The Synthesist asks the following questions:

2. The idealist asks the following questions:
  • What does people think about _____?
  • How do people feel about _____?
  • Have I considered all the points of view?

3. The Pragmatist asks the following questions:
  • What things will work the best for me?
  • What shortcuts can I take?
  • What quick plan can solve _____?
  • How can I think creatively about _____?
  • How can I adapt to this situation?

4. The Analyst asks the following questions:
  • How can I be more organized and disciplined?
  • How can I subdivide a big problem into smaller and manageable parts?
  • What patterns do I see?
  • Is there a scientific solution to this problem that can be used over and over again?

5. The Realist asks the following questions:
  • Asks the hard question that start with:

    Who …?

    When …?

    Where …?

    Why …?

    How …? 

    What …?
  • What can be done to solve this problem?
  • What is the opinion of the experts on this matter?
  • What tools can be used to solve this problem?
  • What are the limitations?
